波のない時にバツカラスの近くのグリーンキャニオン

Green Canyon near Batu Karas when the waves are calm

ボート乗り場まではバツカラスビーチからバイクで15分くらい。今回は人数多かったので、ボートは2艘で出発。

It takes about 15 minutes by motorbike from Batukaras Beach to the boat dock. Since there were many people this time, we departed in two boats.

上流に向かって出発です。We set off upstream

途中にオオトカゲを発見したり、ジャングル感満載。We spotted a giant lizard along the way, giving us a jungle-like feeling.

途中までボートできて、そのあとはライフジャケットを着用して、上流に向かって泳ぎます。流れもあってなかなか大変ですが、小学生でも大丈夫でしたよー。前日に雨が降って、宮崎県の高千穂峡みたいになってました。

You can go on a boat halfway, then put on a life jacket and swim upstream. There is a current so it’s quite difficult, but even elementary school students were able to do it.It had rained the day before, and it looked like Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki Prefecture.

ライフジャケット着てるので、安心です。I’m wearing a life jacket so I feel safe.

途中まで泳いで行くと、飛び込むことができる丸い岩があります。飛び込みたい人は是非。なかなかの高さですよー！

If you swim halfway, there is a round rock that you can jump into. If you want to jump in, please do. It’s quite high!

子供はこっちの岩からで。頑張って飛び込みました！The kids jumped in from the rocks over here.

さらに上流まで泳いで記念撮影。なかなか楽しい場所ですよー。帰りは流れがあるので、プカプカ気持ちよく浮いて帰れます。また行きましょう。

We swam further upstream and took a commemorative photo. It was a really fun place. On the way back, there was a current, so we could float comfortably on the way home. Let’s go again.
